Qingzhen, a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province, received 382,981 tourists during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday on June 25-27, according to local officials.
That generated tourism revenue of more than 100 million yuan ($14.16 million), they said.
In order to bring the tourists in, the city launched a series of exciting and interesting activities, planned holiday themed activities and put together and promoted recommended travel routes during the holiday.
However, it also kept a close alert in novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control, while further seeking to stimulate consumption in the culture and tourism markets.
During the three-day holiday, local scenic spots received no major tourist complaints, officials said.
