Qingzhen, a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently organized a special meeting on key industry projects of all-for-one tourism, according to local officials.
All-for-one tourism is about integrating tourism resources for the development of the sector. The term was first mentioned in 2017 in government work report to cater to the country's growing demand for tourism products and services and facilitate economic transition.
Sun Shaoxue, Party chief of Qingzhen city, together with Wang Mingming, mayor of Qingzhen city, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
The meeting pointed out that it was necessary to accelerate the development of tourism resources, optimize the structure of tourism products, adjust the allocation of various factors and promote the integrated development of culture and tourism -- to build the city into a national demonstration zone for all-for-one tourism.
Meanwhile, the meeting urged the development of cultural tourism products and brands. It said the city should promote the steady recovery of the cultural tourism industry and upgrade tourism spending, to build a new pattern of all-for-one tourism development.
Officials stressed the need to explore various forms of tourism -- including cultural, ecological, rural and leisure tourism -- to promote the development of all-for-one tourism and turn tourism and cultural resources advantages into economic development advantages.
Under the plan, Qingzhen will create a system and mechanism for integrated cultural and tourism industrial operations, brand building and functions. The city will encourage merchants to accelerate innovation and transformation, to create a series of cultural, historical, distinctive and brand-focused themed city blocks.
On the basis of preserving its cultural elements, the city will increase the integration of tourism resources.
It will make tourism resources create greater economic benefits and contribute to local poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, officials added.
