The Qingzhen Bus Co in Qingzhen -- a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- has launched 12 customized bus lines to ensure that the school spring semester will resume as scheduled, according to local officials.
Officials said, based on the current epidemic prevention and control situations, Qingzhen has conducted appropriate checkups and epidemic prevention and control training for special bus drivers.
The training includes personal protection, safety education, driving regulations and emergency actions.
Drivers need to take nucleic acid tests before they take up their posts, take a daily temperature measurement, scan the Guizhou health code and have daily disinfections.
To run along the routes for local schools and serve the passengers, the Qingzhen Bus Company has put 26 buses marked with special signs into use and prepared 10 emergency vehicles.
Teachers and students are required to wear masks and scan the Guizhou health code on the bus.
