Huafeng International Logistics City, a vital logistics market hub for food and daily necessities in Qingzhen -- a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- has guaranteed local supplies during the novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control period, local officials said.

To date, since the outbreak it has sold about 1,200 metric tons of rice, 60 tons of grain and oil, 100,000 items of convenience food, 30,000 cartons and bottles of milk and drinking water and about 100,000 pieces of various types of food to other markets in the city.

Currently, 400 out of the more than 480 businesses in Huafeng International Logistics City have resumed operations, with a rate of return to work of 90 percent, officials said.

To maintain public safety during the epidemic period, Huafeng International Logistics City has established only one gateway with 30 employees taking turns on duty, to register the entry and exit of vehicles, remind people to scan their QR codes and measure temperatures.
