The housing and urban-rural development bureau of Qingzhen city -- located in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- has taken various measures to help real estate development businesses implement appropriate novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control measures and resume production in an orderly manner, according to local officials.
They said the bureau closely communicates about policy documents on work resumption to real estate development companies and provides support on policies, services, employment and approval for the resumption of work.
The bureau has also issued a guidance manual for real estate development enterprises to prepare work plans and emergency plans for epidemic prevention and control.
Meanwhile, the bureau has instructed local real estate firms to improve their sanitary measures, as well as disinfection and temperature detection systems in the workplace.
The firms have also been instructed to prepare information registration books, protective materials, including masks, medical alcohol and disinfectants for returning workers, as well as take daily body temperature measurements of their employees.
Additionally, the companies have been instructed to widely publicize information about epidemic prevention and controls to workers through their WeChat working groups, phone messages and publicity banners.
Currently, 50 real estate development businesses and 97 related projects under construction in Qingzhen city have completely restarted operations.
