The Qingzhen health bureau has acted to boost the knowhow of companies on the novel coronavirus outbreak -- to help them implement appropriate prevention and control measures and resume production in an orderly manner, according to local officials.
The bureau in Qingzhen, the city in Southwest China's Guizhou province, is now requiring local medical institutions and community clinics to keep close tabs on companies and workers that have that resumed production.
It has ordered them to organize promotion and training on epidemic prevention and control, to improve the self-protection awareness and ability of businesses and employees.
Meanwhile, the Qingzhen health bureau has instructed its enterprises to carry out ventilation, disinfection and sanitary work in key areas, including in production offices, employee residences and public areas.
Additionally, enterprises have been instructed to keep daily body temperature measurements of their employees, and prepare handling procedures and emergency measures for any abnormal situation.
So far, the Qingzhen health bureau has carried out coronavirus prevention and control training for enterprises restarting operations more than 30 times, training more than 2,200 employees and distributing 4,000 health care brochures.
