Southwest China's Qingzhen city has developed a WeChat mini app for local residents to enjoy more convenient government services, according to local officials.
They said the program has the name of "Qingzhen Zhengwutong" and is easy to operate. Users just need to scan the QR code or search from their WeChat accounts to open the app, without having to download any plug-in.
Users can log in, either by scanning their faces or using their passwords.
They can also access convenient government services-including online registrations, monitoring progress for applications and certificates, as well as public information inquiries.
With the menu "我要预约", or "Make an appointment", users can choose when they need the government services, thus reducing waiting time.
Officials said that through the menu "办事进度", or "Progress check", users can learn about the progress of a certain item.
Using the menu button "便民查询" or "Public enquiry", users can search information related to their accumulation funds, social security information and company credits.
