Qingzhen Sha'e Tofu is a bean product produced by the Sha'e Tofu Professional Cooperative at Sha'e Village, Liuchang Township, Qingzhen City. It is famous for its smooth taste, toughness, saponin content, and high nutritional value. It is made from locally grown black-hilum soybeans which are rich in high-quality protein, unsaturated fatty acids, calcium and B vitamins, as well as local mountain spring water and farmhouse-brewed sour soup.
After boiling and smoking, the unique Sha'e sour soup tofu is finished. The tofu is close in texture and golden in color, and is resistant to frying and boiling. It tastes delicate and has a lingering aftertaste. With strong local characteristics, it is a good health food for eating and presenting.
