Guizhou Adolescent Robotics Competition 2019 kicks off in Qingzhen

The 5th Guizhou Adolescent Robotics Competition 2019 is held on April 27 in Qingzhen city in Guizhou province. 

Guiyang selected more than 140 contestants to participate in the competition. With good preparation, seven schools, including Guiyang No.38 Middle School and Guiyang No.18 Middle School,had nine winning champions in six competition events including the FLL robots challenge and the VEX robot engineering challenge. 

The competition was co-organized by 13 departments including Guizhou Association for Science and Technology, Guizhou Provincial Education Department and Guizhou Science and Technology Department, and co-hosted by the CPC Qingzhen Municipal Committee, Qingzhen Municipal People's Government and Guizhou Jiaotong College. As the preliminaries of the 19th China Robot Competition, the competition this year attracted 1,100 students of 290 teams from 11 cities and counties in Guizhou province. 

The Competition of Science and Technology in the Future is a competition of scientific and technological talents. Adolescent robotic education will certainly train talented persons for the future science and technology development. Guiyang pays high attention to students' scientific and technological innovation and the improvement of student's diversified abilities. It strengthens the training of students' scientific and technological innovation, promoting the all-round development of students. By participating in the competition, students have gained experience in innovative thinking and coordination abilities, inspiring their interest in science.
