China Climbing League kicks off in Guanshanhu

The Guiyang leg of the 2026 China Climbing League opened on Aug 4 in Guanshanhu district, attracting more than 150 athletes from 19 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.

The two-day event featured men's and women's speed and lead climbing competitions.

Now in its ninth year, the China Climbing League has become a major platform for Olympic preparation, athlete development, and the promotion of sport climbing across China.
