Golden peaches hit market in Guanshanhu district

Golden peaches are now in season in Guiyang's Guanshanhu district, with orchards in Haoguan village, Zhuchang town, entering their peak harvest period.

At Yanhe Mingyuan Farm, workers are busy harvesting, sorting, and packing freshly picked peaches, while livestreams and on-site sales help bring the seasonal fruit to consumers.

The farm covers more than 200 mu (about 13.3 hectares) and grows three fruit varieties. Harvests run from late July to September.

Golden peach production is expected to reach about 100,000 kilograms this season.

"Our golden peaches ripen from mid-July to early August and are known for their sweet flavor, crisp texture, and rich aroma," said Tian Yan, a farm employee.

In addition to fruit sales, the farm offers pick-your-own experiences and other agritourism activities, allowing visitors to enjoy fresh seasonal produce and the rural landscape.
