More than 46,000 fans gather for Gapday Music Festival in Guanshanhu

More than 46,000 music fans gathered at Guanshanhu Park in Guiyang on July 25 as the 2026 Gapday Music Festival kicked off its two-day stop in Guanshanhu district, making it one of Guizhou province's most anticipated summer music events.

The festival aimed to create a relaxed and immersive experience for audiences.

The opening day featured performances by A-Lin, ONER, Jake Miller, Sha Yiting EL, and other artists. Chinese singer Lu Han closed the night with a headline performance, singing popular songs such as Women De Mingtian and Bielai Fanwo.

To improve the audience experience, organizers provided a range of free services, including drinking water stations, luggage storage, makeup touch-up areas, and cooling mist systems.

After the performances, shuttle buses transported concertgoers to nearby interchange stations for Guiyang Metro Lines 1 and 2, helping tens of thousands of fans return home safely and efficiently.

The festival is the latest example of Guiyang's efforts to integrate live entertainment with tourism. Taking advantage of the city's cool summer climate, the event has boosted its cultural scene while earning praise from attendees for its thoughtful visitor services.
