New smart expressway cuts travel time between Guanshanhu and Anshun

A new section of the Shanghai–Kunming National Expressway opened to traffic on June 26, reducing travel time between Guiyang's Guanshanhu district and downtown Anshun city in Southwest China's Guizhou province by about 20 minutes.

The Guiyang–Anshun expansion project is Guizhou's first smart expressway. It features no tunnels along the entire route.

Starting from Shangmai Interchange in Guanshanhu district and ending at Jiaozishan Hub in Anshun, the expressway is designed to improve regional connectivity and travel efficiency.

The route includes nine toll stations. A smart service area has also opened, providing drivers with integrated services, including refueling, charging, dining, and rest facilities.
