Small green spaces revitalized in Guanshanhu

Guiyang's Guanshanhu district has nearly completed a campaign to renovate small public green spaces around Guiyangbei Railway Station, enhancing the city's landscape and creating a more attractive urban environment.

The project, launched in late April, focused on five neglected green areas near the railway station. Previously affected by aging vegetation and disorganized landscaping, the sites have been transformed through the removal of dead plants, terrain reshaping, and soil improvement.

New plantings, including hydrangeas, blue sage, red and green maples, holly, and azaleas, now add fresh color and vitality to the area.

The upgraded landscapes feature layered arrangements of trees, shrubs, flowers, ornamental grasses, and natural stone elements, creating year-round greenery and seasonal floral displays.
