Named for its 108 scattered islets, the lake enchants visitors with scenery that rivals Hangzhou's well-renowned Thousand Island Lake. The islands create a mesmerizing natural spectacle from afar, appearing like blossoms floating on the water.

Baihua Lake's journey began in the 1950s with the construction of a hydroelectric station, which evolved into a secondary power station in the 1960s. Over time, the lake expanded its functions to include irrigation and tourism. By 1987, it was officially recognized as a provincial scenic spot.
