Guanshanhu strawberries enter picking season

In recent days, the greenhouse of the strawberry cooperative in Wengjing village, Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, has become a vibrant scene of bright red strawberries nestled among green leaves.

Tourists weave through the garden, baskets in hand, picking fresh fruit. This year, the strawberry cultivation area in Wengjing village has expanded to over 30 mu (2 hectares), yielding an expected 30,000 kilograms. The strawberries' ripening period extends from early November to around June of the following year.
