In October, the livestreaming industrial park of the Guiyang Southwest International Trade City in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was awarded the title of Guizhou Provincial E-commerce Industry Development Demonstration Park.
This honor not only recognizes the park's development achievements but also signifies that it will receive more policy support and financial assistance in the future, injecting new impetus into its continued growth.
The park covers an area of approximately 15,000 square meters, with the 8,300-sq-m first-phase project already in operation.
"The park features product display areas, cultural exhibition zones, event spaces, content production areas, conference rooms, influencer livestreaming zones, and 35 independent livestreaming rooms, serving as a comprehensive e-commerce livestreaming service industrial park integrating investment attraction, talent recruitment, talent training, project incubation, and employment," said Chen Xiangyun, the park's general manager.
Since it began operating in March 2023, the park has successfully incubated and nurtured 15 e-commerce enterprises and service providers, benefiting 137 merchants and facilitating around 400 million yuan ($55.49 million) in transactions and 100 million yuan in online retail sales.
Moving forward, the park will further increase the scale and specialization of the e-commerce livestreaming industry in the trade city, contributing to the high-quality economic development of Guanshanhu.
