Guanshanhu enhances employment services

Since the beginning of this year, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has made solid progress in promoting employment services through various measures.

By September, rural labor transfer employment reached 2,072, while urban new employment reached 13,189, accomplishing 90.96 percent of the annual target. Reemployment of unemployed individuals reached 2,906, exceeding the yearly target by 147.14 percent, while 215 people facing employment difficulties found jobs, achieving 76.78 percent of the annual goal.

Meanwhile, the district actively conducted vocational skills training to enhance workers' employment skills and increase income. It facilitated cooperation between vocational schools and enterprises to elevate workers' skills and promote industry-education integration. So far, 1,250 individuals have received vocational skills training.

Guanshanhu also prioritized groups like university and college graduates, actively expanding employment channels and enhancing online and offline recruitment services to facilitate precise job matching.

Over 25,000 job positions for graduates have been collected, with 2,854 non-local graduates finding employment in Guanshanhu. The district organized 28 job fairs, served 605 companies, and provided over 27,000 positions, ensuring the steady advancement of employment initiatives.
