During the National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang witnessed a tourism boom, with 576,803 visitors and tourism revenue reaching 327 million yuan ($46.31 million), marking a year-on-year increase of 29.37 percent and 32.99 percent, respectively.
The district hosted diverse cultural and tourism activities over the holiday. On Oct 3, the Guiyang Roadside Music Concert ignited the night with a passionate performance, creating a visual and auditory feast.

Throughout the holiday, the district's shopping centers welcomed approximately 2.76 million visitors, marking a 21.67 percent increase in foot traffic and generating sales revenue of 213.76 million yuan, a 16.6 percent year-on-year growth.
Stores adorned with festive decorations, merchandise, and a plethora of engaging activities allowed customers to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit. Discount promotions, shopping lotteries, and other incentives attracted enthusiastic shoppers, leading to bustling crowds as residents and tourists eagerly selected their desired items.
