National Fitness Carnival ignites Guanshanhu

The 2024 National Fitness Carnival and the 2nd Guanshanhu Community Sports Meet kicked off in the Guanshanhu district of Guiyang on Aug 24, providing residents and visitors with a unique summer experience.

By combining sports and music with natural and urban landscapes, the event aimed to showcase Guanshanhu's unique charm. Serving as a platform for socializing and understanding, the carnival allowed participants to release the pressures of daily life and work, collectively embracing the romance and vitality of Guanshanhu.

Following the opening ceremony, numerous running enthusiasts raced into action for the fun run and joyfully shed sweat on the track, reveling in the happiness brought by exercise.

Various exciting activities were also organized, such as childhood game challenges, traditional ethnic sports checkpoints, interactive treasure hunts, and a lively music market.

Running from August to the end of September, the sports meet is divided into categories for youth, adults, and seniors. The sports lineup includes traditional events like table tennis, badminton, basketball, and soccer and fun competitions like square dance contests and frisbee battles.

Participants can flexibly schedule their time, choosing their preferred activities and locations and experiencing new sports dynamics amidst the urban charm of Guanshanhu.
