In the midst of the scorching summer, abundant sunlight has provided an excellent growth environment for the golden honey peaches in Zhuchang town, Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

"Our golden honey peaches are now in their prime. This year's quality is exceptional, with the sugar content reaching 17 percent," stated Hua Fuyong, sales director of Guiyang Zhuchang Industrial Co.
According to Hua, the golden honey peach is one of Zhuchang's signature fruits. Unlike ordinary yellow peaches, it offers a crisper, sweeter, and juicier taste, which is highly popular among consumers.
In the past, due to a lack of brand building and market promotion, sales channels for Zhuchang's golden honey peaches were limited, resulting in unsatisfactory prices.
To change this situation, in 2022, Guanshanhu designated golden honey peaches as the region's first fruit brand to focus on. In July of the same year, the "Guantao" brand was officially launched.
Over the two years since the launch of the "Guantao" brand, it has gradually become more well-known. Last year, the Guantao brand's orchard launch event attracted numerous locals and tourists, resulting in the sale of approximately 12,500 kilograms of the fruit.
In recent years, Guanshanhu has actively explored the path of agricultural product branding, successfully increasing the value of agricultural products and opening up new avenues for farmers to increase income.
It is believed that in the future, more high-quality agricultural product brands like "Guantao" will emerge, playing a greater role in promoting high-quality agricultural development in Guanshanhu and enhancing farmers' income.
