Geely's pure electric vehicle to be delivered to customers in Aug

The first pure electric vehicle produced at Geely's manufacturing base in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, the Geely Yinhe E5, began global pre-sales on July 5, with plans for it to be officially launched and delivered to customers in early August.

The Yinhe E5 is Geely's first mass-produced vehicle built on the GEA global intelligent new energy architecture. According to Liu Tiejian, general manager of Geely's manufacturing base in Guiyang, it is the world's first AI intelligent architecture integrating "hardware, systems, ecology, and AI" with a focus on safety, intelligence, and efficiency.

Liu stated, "The base in Guiyang adopts the concept of in-depth integration of big data with manufacturing, integrating industrial robots, intelligent equipment, and information systems. It is laid out according to world-class intelligent factory standards, creating an intelligent factory that integrates intelligence, digitization, and informationization, capable of simultaneous mixed-line production of five vehicle models."

The mass production of the Geely Yinhe E5 in Guiyang will further drive Guizhou's automotive industry towards globalization and refinement, contributing to the enhancement of the automotive industrial chain in Guizhou.

Moving forward, Geely's manufacturing base in Guiyang will focus on improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency to help Guiyang become a pioneer in Southwest China in accelerating the upgrade of the green new energy industry through the development of new quality productive forces.
