As the province's first non-booth smart toll station on the expressway, the Baihuahu toll station differs from traditional manned toll stations.
At this station, the entrance lanes feature a self-service card issuance system, while the exit lanes are equipped with card-insertion payment machines for self-service payments. The card issuance speed has been reduced from 7-8 seconds per vehicle to just 2 seconds, and the self-service payment speed at the exit has been decreased from 22 seconds to 8-10 seconds.
On the opening day, villagers from surrounding villages gathered to celebrate the inauguration of the toll station. They drove their own cars through the new access point to experience the convenience of the improved town exit.
The opening of the Baihuahu toll station holds significant importance in promoting the economic, cultural, and tourism development of Baihuahu town, further enhancing the transportation network in Guanshanhu.
