During this year's Dragon Boat Festival on June 8-10, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, received a total of 236,800 visitors, a 9.2-percent year-on-year increase, with tourism revenue reaching 138.7 million yuan ($19.12 million), an 8.6-percent increase compared to the previous year.

Guanshanhu organized a series of activities themed on intangible cultural heritage at locations such as the Yueran Square, Guiyang Colorful Guizhou Art Museum, and Ruiyiniao Experience Center over the holiday.
Through interactive experiences and explanations from experts, more people were encouraged to participate in the creation of intangible cultural heritage handicrafts.
Various large supermarkets and shopping centers in Guanshanhu actively organized a variety of promotional activities around traditional festival characteristics during the Dragon Boat Festival, creating a festive consumer atmosphere.
Over the holiday period, shopping centers across the district attracted approximately 1.18 million visitors, generating 88.65 million yuan in total sales revenue, representing a 10.24-percent year-on-year growth.
