Guiyang Wine City on trace of rapid rapidly

In May, the China (Guiyang) International Wine Expo City in the Guiyang Southwest International Trade City in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed contracts with nearly 20 enterprises and associations.

With the entry of these enterprises and associations, the construction and operation of Guiyang Wine City have entered a new stage. The city now integrates bulk wine trade, new retail of wine, centralized procurement of wine raw materials, and production-financing services into one comprehensive wine business and trade platform.

As the first comprehensive commercial platform in Guizhou centered around wine, it is on track to create a billion-yuan-level wine industrial chain, which Guanshanhu is using to drive the transformation and upgrading of the Guizhou baijiu industry.

To help small and medium-sized liquor enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency, Guiyang Wine City has introduced six measures related to industry, channel, marketing, quality control, policies and formats.

So far, Guiyang Wine City has signed contracts with over 20 companies, with a planned contract area of 31,900 square meters. Showrooms have been set up in Hangzhou, Xi'an, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, and other places to enhance its external image, broaden sales channels, and achieve rapid brand development and market penetration nationwide. Once fully occupied, it is expected to serve 500 liquor enterprises and merchants.

By attracting upstream and downstream liquor industry businesses, Guanshanhu and relevant departments in Guiyang are striving to foster an interactive new industrial ecosystem at Guiyang Wine City.

Guiyang Wine City has established a demonstration area for wine and tourism integration, a wine business experience area, a customized wine product service center, a wine derivative product experience area, and a Guizhou liquor + Guizhou cuisine intangible cultural heritage experience area.
