Xiuqiu Park, a pocket park in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, opened to the public on May 14, showcasing a sea of blooming hydrangea flowers that attracted numerous admirers.

Xiuqiu Park is located next to the Bihai cultural activity center and elderly care service center in the Bihai living circle, a 15-minute living circle outlined in the district's urban planning. It covers a total area of 3,400 square meters and boasts over 26,000 hydrangea plants of more than 20 varieties.
The park's design incorporates a mix of regular and premium hydrangea species along with other seasonal flowering plants and evergreens, offering scenic views throughout the year.

Additionally, seating areas have been added to enhance the comfort of visitors.
Guanshanhu plans to complete construction on four pocket parks this year. Both Xiuqiu Park and Muguang Linjing have already been opened to the public, while Meimei Park and Yutang Park are still under construction.
