The lanmen wine ceremony, which marked the beginning of the event and doubled as a welcoming activity for locals and tourists, was held on April 11. Miao women welcomed guests at the village gate with a bowl of wine and colorful glutinous rice cake, allowing friends from afar to experience the warmth of the Miao people.
During the sticky rice cake activity, Miao people and tourists enthusiastically joined together to pound rice cakes, continuing this colorful folk custom.
A Miao lusheng music performance and Miao dance show were also staged, attracting a large audience.
Additionally, a long-table banquet was held to celebrate the event. This traditional Miao custom represents the highest standard of hospitality. Rows of tables are filled with dishes such as sour beef soup and Miao-style roasted chicken.
Amidst the buzz of excited chatter and cheerful music, people raised their glasses and sang, creating a happy atmosphere that was filled with laughter.
