The third Guanshanhu spring tea harvest season kicked off at the Guizhou Baichun Shenque Tea Farm in Gaozhai village, Zhuchang town of Guiyang's Guanshanhu district, on March 29.
The event aims to promote spring tea as it enters the market, boosting the benefits for related enterprises, and promoting the Guiyang and Gui'an tea brand.

During the event, the top 10 most beautiful tea gardens in Guiyang and Gui'an received awards, and a ceremony was held to unveil 100 tea varieties. Additionally, a spring tea picking map was released.
The event also featured tours of tea gardens, a tea art appreciation experience, a tea leaves picking experience, and hands-on tea making showcases, all of which promoted culture through tea.
In recent years, Guanshanhu has positioned its tea industry as a distinctive leading industry, and a clear path towards rural vitalization.
This has led to continuous improvement in the tea industry and a thriving tea brand. Guanshanhu has developed a 5000-mu (825-hectare) ecological tea garden that features high-quality varieties such as Shenque White Tea. The district's tea industry output value reached nearly 70 million yuan ($9.68 million) in 2023.
