As the Spring Festival holiday has come to an end, enterprises in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have successively resumed work and production.
On Feb 18, the workshops of Guizhou Panpan Foods Co returned to its usual bustling scene. "During the Spring Festival, we received a lot of orders, so we started working non-stop as soon as we returned to work," said Wu Hu, the company's administrative manager.
With a total investment of about 2 billion yuan ($278 million), the company mainly produces and processes various foods and drinks. Currently, the company is fully staffed, and all four of its production lines are in full operation.
Similarly, other companies, such as Zhong An Technology Group and Guizhou Geely Automobile Manufacturing Co, have also resumed work and production.
"The company started working gradually on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year. Currently, all front-line employees have returned to work, and our production capacity has reached 100 percent. Nearly 200 fully automated production lines are running at full capacity," said Wang Chuanfu, a manager of Zhong An Technology Group.
Zhong An Technology Group has set a target to earn a revenue of 650 million yuan in the first quarter, and so far, its orders for photovoltaic cables, low-voltage cables, and medium-high voltage cables have exceeded 500 million yuan.
