The Central Business District Blue Book: Central Business District Industrial Development Report (2023) was recently released in Beijing.
The development of the building economy and smart building management experience of Guanshanhu district in Guiyang was included in the regional practice chapter of the blue book. It was the only selected case in central or western China.
The blue book is one of a series of think tank reports on philosophy and social science research bases published by Capital University of Economics and Business and Social Science Academic Press (China).
It is titled "Digital Services Improve Urban Energy Level" and consists of four parts: a general report, an index evaluation chapter, a special research chapter and a regional practice chapter. It contains a total of 11 reports.
It introduces Guanshanhu's exploration of and experience developing its building economy by establishing an intelligent management system for the building economy, setting up a building economy command and dispatch information center and other measures.
Experts from the editorial board spoke highly of the development of the building economy in Guanshanhu and its innovative practices in smart building management.
They believe that the district has independently explored and successfully summarized its digital building service management experience, which can be replicated and promoted throughout the country.
There are currently 137 commercial office buildings in Guanshanhu, with more than 16,000 companies setting up operations there, an increase of more than 4,000 compared to 2022.
In 2023, the total tax paid by companies in commercial buildings in the district was estimated at 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion).
