Forum held to boost employment

The Digital Employment Development Forum was held in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 20. More than 130 institutions and corporate representatives attended the event.

During the forum, Luo Yawei, president of the district's labor and human resources disputes arbitration court, said there is a growing trend in new employment patterns. He emphasized the need for more precise employment and management models to safeguard the rights of the new workforce.

In the panel discussion session, the participants had in-depth exchanges about the opportunities and challenges of flexible employment for enterprises in the new era.

With the transformation and upgrading of China's economic structure, it has become a new topic of how to standardize the system of flexible employment, mitigate risks, reduce costs, and improve efficiency to enable more people to engage in flexible employment and facilitate higher-quality employment.

Huang Junfeng, deputy director of Guanshanhu district's employment bureau, highlighted the district's commitment to prioritizing employment. He said that various measures have been implemented to promote this, including boosting economic growth, developing industries, stimulating consumption and strengthening the construction of grassroots public employment service systems.

The forum provided a platform for fruitful discussions and valuable insights on the future of employment in Guizhou province. It highlighted the importance of adapting to the changing employment landscape and utilizing innovative strategies to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers.
