Guanshanhu cultural tourism festival concludes

Guanshanhu district in Guiyang held the closing ceremony for its 2023 Cultural tourism festival on Dec 2.

The festival, which lasted for 180 days over the past six months, concluded.

The closing ceremony began with a performance of a song and dance sand painting titled "Guanshanhu." It was divided into three chapters: "Enjoying Guanshanhu," "Encountering Guanshanhu," and "Shopping in Guanshanhu."

In each chapter, awards were presented to the "Shanhu Award" winners and outstanding organizations and individuals.

Various activities were organized during the festival, including nature research experiences, music concerts, visits to the Guanshanhu District Ecological Civilization Exhibition Hall, music festivals, intangible cultural heritage field shows, and community sports events.

Since its inception in 2016, the Guanshanhu cultural tourism festival has grown into a regional and seasonal brand event with influence after seven years of brand creation, promotion, and expansion.
