The Guiyang Southwest International Trade City in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang has been committed to becoming a comprehensive commercial and logistical hub that combines market operations, international trade, modern logistics, e-commerce, leisure and entertainment.
It has received a total of 60 billion yuan ($8.24 billion) in investment and has a built-up area of about 2.8 million square meters, making it an important hub for commercial and logistics activities in Southwest China.
This year, the trade city has implemented measures such as integrating scattered industries and strengthening potential industries, attracting a number of projects and injecting new vitality into the trade city.
With the support of the Guanshanhu Modern Service Industry Pilot Zone, the trade city has allocated 20 million yuan ($2.75 million) in industrial support funds for policy implementation, bringing tangible benefits to merchants and enterprises.
A fund pool service has been provided to merchants, and this year, a total of 11 loan applications worth 18.5 million yuan have been approved, helping many merchants and enterprises overcome funding problems.
The trade city has spared no effort in the promotion of supporting facilities. The completed warehousing and logistics park has a total area of 450,000 square meters, housing around 100 logistics companies.
The newly-built smart logistics dispatch center in the trade city was put into operation in August 2022, providing strong support for logistics and distribution.
In addition, the trade city has established an e-commerce live streaming base, integrating online and in-person activities and promoting the development of e-commerce.
Moving forward, the trade city will continue to strengthen investment attraction, project construction, and service support and draw on the experiences of other excellent trade cities to promote the high-quality development of its endeavors.
