Phase one of the Guanshanhu Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park project in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has recently been completed, with some of the facilities already in use.
With a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan ($185.89 million), the industrial park covers a construction area of approximately 220,000 square meters and is being developed in two phases, with a total of 28 standard factory buildings.
So far, 15 of the buildings in phase one have been completed and put into use, while phase two is currently 93-percent complete. It is expected to meet delivery conditions by the end of December.
As a key project at the provincial and municipal level, the industrial park is centered around smart manufacturing and aims to attract smart manufacturing companies specializing in robotics, drones, cutting factories, electronic radar, chips, semiconductors, magnetic materials, and electronic components.
Guanshanhu will provide value-added services related to finance, agency, healthcare, talent resources, consumption, and business for companies operating in the park, creating a favorable business environment.
The park is expected to see its first batch of companies move in by the end of December. At the construction site, some companies are making progress in interior decoration.
