The Guiyang Southwest International Trade City in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has achieved a nearly 7 percent increase in sales and leasing of nearly 200,000 square meters since the beginning of this year.

The trade city has attracted over 1,000 new market entities, generating a revenue of more than 13.4 billion yuan ($1.84 billion) and completing nearly 800 million yuan in infrastructure investments.
In recent years, the trade city has attracted numerous well-known brands. It has established a headquarters for cultural and creative products with an investment of 30 million yuan, becoming a high-quality exhibition hall for stationery brands and contemporary trendy cultural and creative products.
The newly opened tea utensils and furniture hall in the trade city is a smart and innovative marketplace that provides a comprehensive range of services, including wholesale and retail options, e-commerce capabilities, efficient logistics support, and beautiful displays of tea leaves.
To support the development of merchants, the trade city reached a cooperation agreement with Kunming New Luosiwan International Trade City in June this year. The two parties will promote, advertise, and sell each other's specialty products in their respective markets.
Also, the trade city has continued to actively promote the funds pool service to assist businesses and merchants.
In 2023, Guiyang Industrial Development Holding provided loans to nine merchants, totaling 18 million yuan, helping them solve their urgent funds shortage.
Meanwhile, the trade city has assisted merchants in live streaming, self-owned brand planning, design packaging, incubation and operation, and brand promotion. These efforts have received positive feedback from many merchants.
