Since the beginning of this year, the Gushanhu district bureau of human resources and social security in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has taken multiple measures to maintain stable levels of employment.
The district has added 7,371 new urban jobs, and there have been no reports of unemployment problems among those of working age seeking jobs in urban households.
Meanwhile, the bureau has been providing support and regulation to promote the development of new forms of employment.
So far this year, a total of 16.22 million yuan ($2.25 million) in loans have been disbursed, benefiting 23 individuals and resulting in the employment of 115 people.
Additionally, five incubation bases for entrepreneurs have been established, including two at the provincial level.
