Chinese automaker Geely is one of the official partners of the 19th Asian Games which will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang's provincial capital, in September.
During the games, more than 10 Geely models will form a team of over 2,000 vehicles to serve the games. Among them, more than 400 vehicles of two models are being produced at Geely's base in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
These vehicles will provide green, technological and intelligent travel services for participating delegations, technical personnel, media staff members, and other registrants.
Headquartered in Hangzhou, Geely's complete vehicle industrialization project has settled in Guiyang, producing new energy vehicles such as methanol vehicles.
Over the years, Guizhou and Geely have joined hands to improve the auto industry chain and promote the continuous development of the auto industry towards high quality.
Currently, an industrial chain centered on Geely and including more than 30 auto parts-producing companies has been formed.
