Greenway improves quality of life for Guanshanhu residents

Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has made efforts to promote construction of greenways in the district, and has seen fruitful results.

The Jiankang greenway located in the urban area of the district has become a popular place for residents to frequent during their leisure time.

The greenway is adjacent to Lincheng East Road in the north, Qianlingshan Road in the south, Changling North (South) Road in the east, and Jinyang Avenue in the west.

It measures about 15 kilometers in one direction and 25 km in two directions, with 19.5 km around Guanshanhu Park.

It connects parks, cultural streets, and scenic belts. Also, cultural landmarks such as the Guizhou Provincial Museum and the Guizhou Provincial Library along the greenway add a unique cultural flavor to it.

Along the greenway, vending machines, supporting toilets, and outdoor washbasins are provided.

In addition, tree shade and shelter from wind and rain are added to improve the safety and comfort of greenways. Meanwhile, it is equipped with facilities related to intelligent health monitoring, intelligent sports, intelligent interaction and science popularization.
