A tourism promotion meeting for the high-speed rail economic belt in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was held on April 26, in the runup to the May Day holiday.

From April 26-28, tourism promotion exhibitions and special commodity sales activities will be held in the west square of Guiyang North Railway Station.
The event includes 33 companies which are promoting boutique tourist routes, hotels in the district, specialty products, and local catering.
The event has provided a display platform for high-quality enterprises in Guanshanhu and boosted the popularity and reputation of the district's tourism brand.
Guiyang North Railway Station currently operates 340 to 360 trains per day and has an average daily passenger flow of 100,000 to 150,000. Before the May Day holiday, there is expected to be a huge influx of passengers.
