In recent years, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has made every effort to create a good environment for the development of talent, which has led to fruitful results.
Since 2022, Guanshanhu has signed cooperation agreements with the Guizhou alumni associations of Xiamen University, Sichuan University, Zhejiang University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and Guizhou University to jointly promote employment and entrepreneurship.

In order to attract high-level talent and college and university graduates, the district has further promoted government-school-enterprise cooperation, signed cooperation agreements with 13 colleges and institutes, and carried out employment training camps and employment career guidance activities.
The construction of related platform carriers in the district has been fully supported. Since 2022, Guanshanhu has become home to two new municipal-level technology business incubators, 17 incubated companies, and one academician workstation.

Also, Guanshanhu has carried out symposiums to learn about the needs and difficulties of enterprises and talent from multiple perspectives.
In addition, the district has rolled out a series of policies and measures to provide all-round services for talent.
In 2022, Guanshanhu built 2,103 sets of affordable rental housing for talent and issued subsidies worth 730,000 million yuan ($105,478.29) for house purchase, living allowance, salary and talent services.
The district also coordinated and solved 66 problems for talent and helped 172 children of talent go to school.
