Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, opened two microcirculation special bus lines targeting residents around Shijicheng sub-district on April 7.

Shijicheng sub-district has an area of 6.34 square kilometers and a permanent population of 153,000, making it the most densely populated area in Guanshanhu district. Amid rapid development, problems such as traffic congestion and lack of transportation have become increasingly prominent.

The bus lines will meet the travel needs of residents in the sub-district who are traveling between residential areas and surrounding metro stations, bus interchanges, schools, and hospitals.

A microcirculation bus line has the characteristics of short lines and is more targeted. Microcirculation bus lines use smaller vehicles, which are flexible, fast, and have a high turnover rate, allowing them to more easily accommodate the travel needs of residents.

The operating hours of the two bus lines are from 7 am to 7 pm, and the fare is 2 yuan ($0.29). The departure interval of the two lines is 30 minutes, which will be adjusted according to passenger flow.
