This year, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has made scientific plans for the high-quality development of the district's economy and society.
Guanshanhu has set its main industrial goals for this year: its target industrial output value above a designated size is 20.5 billion yuan ($2.97 billion), while its target growth for industrial added value above a designated size is 10 percent.
The district plans to complete industrial investment of 5 billion yuan and to sign 30 industrial projects worth 6.2 billion yuan into effect, as well as introduce industrial projects with funds of 5.5 billion yuan.
By speeding up the development of the electronic information manufacturing industry and the ecological food industry, the district aims to cultivate more than 500 industrial market entities, with a net increase of more than 17 industrial enterprises above a designated size – those with annual output value of 20 million yuan or more.
Meanwhile, Gunahsnhu will guide the transformation and upgrading of over 10 traditional industrial enterprises.
Additionally, efforts will be made to hold investment promotion events more than once a month to give high-quality enterprises a strong competitive edge and improve the infrastructure and services of its industrial parks.
To push ahead with new-type urbanization, Guanshanhu will improve urban supporting facilities, promote the construction of a digital platform for urban governance, and advance urban lighting, purification, greening, and beautification projects.
Agriculture and rural modernization will be advanced through actions including creating a public agricultural brand of Guanshanhu district, improving its agricultural structure, fostering new-type agricultural entities and optimizing land management.
What's more, the district is promoting tourism industrialization by constructing a district strong in performing arts and sports events, constructing tourism projects, developing rural tourism, planning tourism routes, and promoting tourism.
