Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a job fair at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics on March 10, with 40 companies participating.
The job fair was held both online and offline and was intended to help college and university graduates in Guizhou to find employment and start businesses in the province as well as to provide talent support for the building of a strong provincial capital.
At the job fair, 40 high-quality enterprises in Guanshanhu district, such as Guizhou Tongyuan Automotive Group Co, Guiyang Zhong An Technology Group Co, and Guiyang Mobile Financial Development Co, offered more than 1,100 jobs for graduates to choose from.
The jobs were in various industries, including electronic information manufacturing, characteristic ecological agriculture, and modern services.
A policy explanation area was also set up to provide consultation services for graduates on talent housing, talent introduction, settling down in Guizhou, and entrepreneurship.
The on-site job fair received over 5,000 resumes, with 43 initial employment agreements signed, while the online livestreaming job fair saw 80,000 viewers.
