Guanshanhu-based company honored as green factory

Guiyang Zhong An Technology Group in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, made the list of "green factories" published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

A total of 18 enterprises in Guizhou won the national honor, including 16 State-owned and joint-stock enterprises and two private enterprises. Zhong An Technology Group is the first cable enterprise in Guizhou to be awarded the title.

The company began operating in the district in 2018, with its main business focused on producing wires, cables, and environmentally friendly pipes. It is a professional high-tech cable enterprise involved in design, production, research, development and related services.

In recent years, the company has been pursuing sustainable development with a focus on energy conservation, pollution reduction and efficiency improvement. It has arranged the layout of office buildings, plants and employees' apartments in a way that utilizes land efficiently.

By introducing the concept of green full-value chain management, the company has accelerated the development of refined management in clean production, energy conservation and emissions reduction, achieving the continuous upgrading of its product and industrial structures and playing an exemplary role in sustainable development.

A manager at the company said that being named a national "green factory" is an honor and has inspired the company to continue pursuing green, low-carbon, and innovative development.

The company will continue striving to reduce energy consumption and promote new industrialization and high-quality development in the province, said the manager.
