Five air-film laboratories for nucleic acid testing in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have recently begun operating, and the other two are being installed with equipment and trialed.

The main structure of the laboratory usually consists of four to six air-film cabins. The entire process from sample collection to final result reporting forms a very standard PCR laboratory.
The cabin of the laboratory is divided into a sample receiving area, a reagent preparation area, a sample preparation area and an amplification analysis area.
After all laboratories are in operation, nucleic acid detection will be able to be carried out continuously for 24 hours.
The daily detection capacity of a laboratory can reach 50,000 tubes, meeting the nucleic acid detection requirements of 500,000 people.
This will greatly improve the nucleic acid detection capabilities of Guiyang.
