Commercial network layout optimized in Guanshanhu

In recent years, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has continuously optimized its commercial network layout, forming a consumption space layout system with a reasonable structure and complete supporting facilities.

From January to July this year, the total retail sales of consumer goods in the district are expected to reach 18.9 billion yuan ($2.78 billion), a year-on-year increase of 23 percent.

A total of 11 high-quality commercial buildings were built, with a construction area of about 890,000 square meters.

In addition, three high-quality professional markets and six large comprehensive supermarkets were built in the district. 

Previously, the commerce in Guanshanhu was dominated by traditional department stores and local enterprises, mainly in areas of mass consumption such as shopping, life services, and family entertainment

Along with rapid economic and social development, consumer demand is rising. Guanshanhu has introduced a number of high-end brands, which means that the district is gradually moving from the layout stage to the improvement and upgrading stage.

In addition, various music festivals, concerts, large-scale exhibitions, trunk markets and other emerging business formats are thriving in Guanshanhu.
