Guanshanhu launches ecological culture brand

The ecological culture brand of Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was released on June 18, along with the launch of the 2022 "ecological season" series of activities.

The status of Guanshanhu's environment in 2021 was released that same day.

In 2021, the air quality excellence rate of Guanshanhu reached 98.6 percent, ranking second among the six urban areas of Guiyang, and has reached national secondary standards for the past five years.

Urban black and odorous water bodies have been completely eliminated, and the soil environmental quality has been effectively controlled with no polluted land plots.

Throughout the year, Guanshanhu built more than 200 parks of various types, with its total area of green park space exceeding 10 million square meters and the forest coverage rate remaining stable at over 46 percent.

From June 18 to late August, Guanshanhu will carry out a series of "ecological season" activities with the slogan "feeling the ecological rhythm of Guanshanhu and sharing the beautiful movement of man and nature".
