Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held various activities to celebrate culture and natural heritage day, which falls on June 11 this year.
At Jiaxiu Pavilion, dancing, singing and cross talks were presented to the public. Visitors were also able to enjoy traditional Guiyang food and learn about Guiyang's intangible cultural heritage items.
Currently, Guiyang has three national intangible cultural heritage items and two inheritors, 88 provincial intangible cultural heritage items and 40 inheritors, and 203 municipal intangible cultural heritage items and 153 inheritors.
Guiyang also has one provincial intangible cultural heritage protection demonstration base.
