The Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, launched its cultural and tourism brand – Cool Guiyang, Meet Guanshanhu – on June 2.

The brand aims to give full play to the immense appeal of Guanshanhu's location, its resources, policies and channels and to promote the cultural tourism industry in the area.
In recent years, based on its own attractive environment and effective tourism distribution centers, Guanshanhu has actively promoted ecological tourism, rural tourism and leisure tourism, with its tourism industry in the region achieving leapfrog development.
Through the launch of the new cultural and tourism brand, the district is expected to further integrate its cultural tourism resources to provide richer and higher-quality tourism products and services, while mobilizing its commercialization of tourism.
At the launch, the logo of the district's cultural and tourism brand was released, a design which combines the three initials of Guizhou, Guiyang and Guanshanhu.
At the event, the culture, sports, radio, television and tourism bureaus of Guanshanhu and Zhijin county signed a framework agreement, paving the way for the further integration and development of their cultural and tourism sectors.
Plans are for Guanshanhu to further boost its brand promotions, market the brand in various tourism scenarios, raise its profile with tourists and improve the popularity and reputation of cultural tourism in the district.
