Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is in urgent need of talent and has been improving talent services to attract more workers.
Talent that is urgently needed by local companies can receive housing subsidies after being employed and certificated. They will receive 50,000 to 1 million yuan ($7,493-$149,873) in subsidies when purchasing their first house for personal use.
According to the talent office of the Guanshanhu Party committee, they have handed out talent policy pamphlets, organized policy promotion meetings, sent work teams to promote policies at companies, provided one-on-one policy explanations, and established a talent exchange service center to implement talent policies.
Guanshanhu also provides rental apartments for workers and organizes activities during festivals. The apartments feature household appliances, furniture, multipurpose areas, and 24-hour housekeeping services.
All apartments can be booked and applied for online.
In addition, the talent office of the Guanshanhu Party committee can help talents with startups, financing, medical treatment, residence registration and children's education.
In the future, Guanshanhu will visit more companies and talent to learn about their needs, better allocate resources in the district, and improve the living and working environment to attract more people.
